Ephraim is one of Wisconsin’s most walkable small towns “with big charm”

Ephraim, our village on the Peninsula, was named by Travel Wisconsin as one of three “walkable small towns with big charm.” The walkability of Ephraim, especially if you stay at Eagle Harbor Inn on Ephraim’s historic main street, is second to none — Travel Wisconsin even went so far as to suggest that Ephraim is “one of the most walkable vacation spots in Wisconsin.”

We love when our guests park the car for the weekend while they relax and explore the neighborhood. Whether it’s stopping by Leroy’s Coffee for your morning jolt, sauntering to Trixie’s for a late afternoon glass of natural wine and small plates, or watching the sunset over the bay, Ephraim’s charms are all accessible on two feet. The Village of Ephraim recently installed a new sidewalk in the spring of 2019 to make it even safer for pedestrians.
