Whirlpool Suites, Inn & The Residence
Eagle Harbor Inn’s five acres provide a serene spot to take in Door County’s natural beauty and pristine coastline, yet the resort is within walking distance of all that the quaint village of Ephraim has to offer.
Located within Ephraim’s Historic District, our resort offers three kinds of accommodations with full amenities for every lodging choice. They include: one- and two-bedroom whirlpool suites, historic single Inn rooms and The Residence, a four-bedroom, 2.5 bath home with a spacious open concept living/dining/kitchen area.
Included in all accommodations are down comforters, plenty of pillows, and a cloud-like pillow top mattress. We also include custom soaps & private bathroom with rain shower, hairdryer,and iron, HDTV, air conditioning, indoor pool, sauna, exercise room & locked bike room. The latest in WiFi technology – WiFi7 – is available at no charge throughout the resort.
Outdoors there are lawn games, garden pockets, Adirondack chairs, beach chairs, grills & picnic areas. Freshly baked Afternoon Treats at the Inn are available to all guests at 3pm every day.
For our guests with electric vehicles, Eagle Harbor Inn offers EV Charging stations.

One Bedroom Whirlpool Suite
1st Floor Suite
Relaxation is taken seriously at Eagle Harbor Inn. Each apartment-like suite features a six-foot whirlpool tub in the master bedroom with dimmable lights, a separate rain shower, custom soaps and loofah, a two-way fireplace, ceiling fan, and a cherry wood Eastlake queen bed. In selected suites, there is a dining room with a queen sleeper sofa. Whip up a quick breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker, coffee and tea and welcome the morning on your private deck.
The one-bedroom whirlpool suite rate is based on two people. An additional $15 will be added for each additional person over the age of 4.

Two Bedroom Whirlpool Suite
Second Floor Suite
Welcome to our well-appointed, bright 2-bedroom whirlpool suite with cathedral ceilings that comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests. Located on the second floor of each House, the suite’s main floor offers a spacious living room/dining area with 2-way fireplace & queen sleeper sofa, & a fully equipped apartment-sized kitchen with tea, coffee & coffeemaker. Also on this floor, the queen master bedroom features a 6’ whirlpool with rheostatic lighting, custom soaps & loofah, and a full bath with fully tiled shower with bench seat. A private deck invites you to take in the park-like view of the resort’s 5 acres. In the living room, the spiral staircase leads to the second queen bedroom & a full master bath.
The two-bedroom whirlpool suite rate is based on four people. An additional $15 will be added for each additional person over the age of 4.

Hollyhock House
1 Bedroom on 2 Levels
Guests of the one-bedroom whirlpool suites in the log-clad Hollyhock House receive the same elegant comfort of the other suites, but with the drama of two floors in a townhouse-like setting. Each suite features a six-foot whirlpool tub in the second-floor master bedroom with dimmable lights, a separate rain shower in the master bathroom, a half-bathroom on the first floor, custom soaps and loofah, a fireplace, ceiling fan, and a queen cottage bed. Whip up a quick breakfast in the fully equipped, apartment-sized kitchen and enjoy it on the shared front porch. In-room amenities include a separate living and dining room with a queen sleeper sofa. Daily housekeeping service is provided.
The one-bedroom whirlpool suite rate is based on two people. An additional $15 will be added for each additional person over the age of 4.

Two Bedroom Suite – NO WHIRLPOOL
Second Floor Suite

Traditional Inn Rooms at Eagle Harbor Inn
Intimate and welcoming, the original house offers turn-of-the-twentieth-century warmth in nine uniquely decorated Inn rooms. Each room is named for a historic woman Innkeeper of Ephraim. All rooms feature a queen bed with plush down comforter and pillow selection, custom soaps & private bathroom with rain shower, Smart TVs (where you can cast from your own account), an antique armoire and individually controlled A/C & heat. First floor rooms have central air & heat. The latest in WiFi technology – WiFi7 – is available at no charge throughout the resort.
*Only children 4 years or older are allowed to stay in the main Inn Rooms. Suites are excellent for families!

Serena
2nd Floor
As the largest room in the main Inn at Eagle Harbor Inn, step down into the old ‘attic’ room with a dramatic vaulted ceiling featuring exposed beams offset by the canopied four poster queen bed. The wing chairs flanking the fireplace invite you to wrap up in comfy robes and enjoy a glass of wine, after luxuriating in the double whirlpool or rain shower with custom soaps & loofah.
A private balcony invites you to enjoy the night sky or relax over a good book.
Serena is named after Serena Christiansen, founder of the Hillside Hotel. The Hillside was well known for its outstanding meals made with fresh ingredients. The local ingredients included fresh milk for drinking, making cream, and churning butter and ice cream; as well as fruits and vegetables from Hillside’s gardens.

Augusta
2nd Floor
This second-floor room looks westward at the front of the property. The soft pale yellow and blue color scheme lends the room an air of tranquility. Wing chairs entice guests to crack open a book for just one more chapter.
Augusta is named after Augusta ‘Gusty’ Jarman of the Pine Grove Hotel. Gusty was a perfectionist — she kept the hotel and dining room immaculate and insisted on fresh flowers on the tables which she changed daily with flowers she collected along the road.

Josie
2nd Floor
This second-floor room has a view of the western sky and the front of the property. The room’s wallpaper welcomes guests with its pattern of stenciled pineapples, the symbol of hospitality. Slipper chairs tempt guests to break out a board game or unfold a newspaper.
Josie is named after Josephine Lang, one of Ephraim’s finest cooks and bakers. She and her husband, Elmer, purchased an old landmark building in Ephraim and turned it into a small resort hotel named Lang’s Resort. During the 34 years they ran Lang’s Resort together, Josie shared many of her delectable recipes including oatmeal bread, meatballs, and cherry pie. The aroma of these dishes and the memory of Josephine live on in many kitchens.

Eugenia
2nd Floor
This second-floor, L-shaped room boasts a westerly view. Its love seat sofa provides a relaxing reading area. The antique, high-panel, oak, queen bed brings a cozy and comfortable night’s rest.
Eugenia is named after Eugenia Smith, an independent woman who learned about business from growing up in her father’s general store. It was Eugenia who decided to build a hotel in Ephraim. To build Eagle Inn, she and her husband B.D. designed a first-class resort that was brought to life by the most talented builders and finest materials — it even had the honor of being the first hotel in Ephraim with indoor plumbing. By 1920, Eugenia managed a staff of 25 who helped her and B.D. operate a hotel of 30 rooms, 14 cottages, and a dining room that could seat 125 people.

Toneta
1st Floor
This 1st floor room looks out toward the rear of the property. This long room offers an antique iron & brass queen bed, a tea table with two chairs & a loveseat sleeper sofa to accommodate a 3rd person at an additional charge of $15./per night.
Toneta is named after Toneta Hogenson who, with her husband, founded the Evergreen Beach Hotel. It opened its doors for business in 1897 with enough rooms to accommodate 50 people, almost half the number of Ephraim residents at that time.

Hulda
2nd Floor
This second-floor room looks out toward the rear of the property and features a queen bed.
Hulda is named after Hulda Knudson of the Knudson House. Hulda and her husband Peder possessed complementary personality traits, which created the graceful hospitality the Knudson House was known for. As a team, Hulda and her husband Peder ran a fine and respectable business serving three meals daily.

Eugenia – Deluxe Queen Room Inn Room

Hilda is named after Olive Gunhild Larson Paschke, known and loved by everyone as ‘Hilda.’ Hilda spent time abroad in England as a governess where she learned the English tradition of afternoon tea service. When she returned to Ephraim, Hilda decided to combine her loves of people and baking by opening the Brookside Tea Garden along a trout stream at the south end of the village. The restaurant became the “in” place to be for guests of all walks of life. No matter how busy she was running the business, Hilda made a practice of visiting each guest at their table.

Tilla
2nd Floor
This second floor room looks out toward the rear of the property. The smallest room in the Inn, it offers an antique iron Double Bed .
Tilla is named after Matilda ‘Tilla’ Helgeson of the Edgewater Lodge. She and her husband Elias enlarged the already spacious house and added a dining room and kitchen in a house behind the hotel, as well as cottages and other outbuildings. Five of their children helped Tilla operate the hotel after Elias died at the age of 60. When grandchildren arrived, they too helped at the hotel. Tilla was the cook and the manager.

Tillie

This first-floor room looks out toward the rear of the property. The queen bed.
Tillie is named after Tillie Valentine Anderson, the owner of the second hotel that was built in Ephraim. She was described as “powerful, brusque and imposing” and her voice could be heard from one end of the hotel to the other. The Anderson Hotel, also known as “Tillie’s Place,” was an instant success due to Tillie’s business sense and fabulous cooking.
