Neddersen Family Celebrates 25 Years of Welcoming Guests to Eagle Harbor Inn

In 1994, Nedd and Natalie Neddersen were living in Kona, Hawaii and working in big resort hotels while raising their two young daughters.

“Life on the Big Island was picturesque, but we know that we wanted to return to Wisconsin, where both Natalie and I grew up,” Nedd said. So, Nedd and Natalie traveled through Wisconsin to find a place where they could settle down. As it happened, Eagle Harbor Inn was for sale and Nedd and Natalie seized on the opportunity to raise their family as part of the close-knit Ephraim and Door County communities. They embarked on a re-development of the property, which you can read more about here. July 1st marks the 25th anniversary of Neddersen ownership, making the Neddersen family the longest-tenured owners of Eagle Harbor Inn since the 1920s.

“We love our stretch of Water Street, and it’s important for us to invest in our neighborhood,” Natalie shared. “We support community theater groups like Door Shakespeare and races like the DC Half Marathon because we want Door County to remain vital for the next 25 years.”

Nedd and Natalie will welcome friends, family, former employees, long-time guests, and in-house guests to enjoy a garden party complete with a solo guitarist, tea sandwiches, and lavender prosecco and lemonade.
